Oversized Sateen
These sateens come in 60" widths instead of the
usual 45" widths. Because of the larger size, they are able to contain
more colors, all in one piece. One good use of these fabrics is
to cut them into strips for borders. They are also good for backgrounds
or wholecloths.

Bamboo/Cotton Yard
Made from a bamboo and cotton blend, this fabric
is softer than cotton and more breathable for clothing. Bamboo prevents
bacteria and odors from forming and is hypoallergenic, organic and
biodegradable. Bamboo also protects the skin from 98% of the sun's
UV rays.

Japanese method of creating folds and dying with
many colors. Gives a beautiful blending of colors and can have a
watercolor or painterly effect. Great for sky, trees, grass, land,
rivers and anything that needs a directional line.

Bleach is used to take away color and reveal the
colors underneath. This technique is called discharging, creating
a foggy and artistic effect.

hand dye's wrinkled effect adds texture and 3-D depth.
